Hi, I’m Gabrielle
CreativePivot helps leaders, stakeholders and teams to think differently and adapt to change.
Years ago, I was in the performing arts before career pivots led me to business where I have held executive roles within the commercial, government and social sectors.
My core purpose is to support multistakeholder systems to engage in focused, meaningful and productive conversations.
I facilitate strategy to find common purpose and pathways for groups, organisations and stakeholders to build community.
I’m human centred by design and look to harness the creativity in the complexity. I focus on designing and facilitating workshops which raise the community voice and governance to facilitate open decision-making processes which together contribute to collaboration and equitable social and ecological solutions.
I’m passionate about sparking ideas for tackling complex challenges and I am committed to processes that deliver creative and sustainable solutions.
My credentials include graduate of the Company Directors Course (GAICD) and the International Association of Public Participation (GIAP2), Bachelor of Arts (Political Economics & Psychology), Social Leadership Australia alumnus and sustainability services provider to the NSW Government.
We needed help with a community consultation for an integrated aged care/social housing development on the Central Coast. The community were very vocal in their opposition to BaptistCare’s proposed plans. We felt Gabrielle understood our organisation and what we were wanting to achieve, and had experience with property development issues. Her advice was well rounded in providing a strategy to shift the community perceptions and her facilitation helped us take the temperature down in the community. As a result we are progressing with our development applications and engaging the community more collaboratively.
